Works Solutions

In most cases, the temporary stability of a structure is as important as it's permanent stability. That is why, with every permanent works solution, PCE provides a temporary works solution. All works are fully designed, detailed and justified by a technical appraisal along with accompanying calculations. Again, the practicality and feasibility of the solution is considered during the specification stage. PCE relies upon previous experience along with the latest innovations and products within the market to ensure its specifications provide the right solution not only for the project, but also for its operatives working on the construction of the precast structure.

Every aspect of the permanent works for the construction of the precast structures will be undertaken by our construction operatives. These works will be identified within our installation plans and will be sequenced to suit the erection of the structural elements. Every fixture and fitting required along with structural grouts, mortars and readymix concrete will be identified and scheduled prior to commencing on site. Construction accessories and materials will then be supplied to PCE's site teams on a 'just in time' basis according to build programme. This way, PCE retains complete control of all its site activities including materials use and storage.
