PCE's strength is in the people it employs, most of which have been with the company for many years.
PCE is an Investor in People and was the first company in the UK to introduce its own fully-accredited NVQ training course for precast concrete erection.
All site staff are NVQ qualified, or working towards full qualification and all hold CITB accreditation. Excellent lines of communication between PCE's headquarters and site ensure that the highest standards are achieved and maintained.
PCE's contribution to training and personal development won the company the 2008 Federation of Master Builders Award for commitment to training and investment.
Commenting on the award, Brian Adams, Chief Executive of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) said:
"PCE's investment in training and development has brought it demonstrable business benefits, including improved staff morale and increased turnover. We congratulate PCE for its commitment to providing high quality services to its clients by investing in its staff and supply chain to achieve a competent workforce."
