Police HQ on awards shortlist
The North Tyneside Police HQ in Wallsend has been shortlisted for this year's Concrete Society Awards.
The complex, which features a 40-cell detention centre designed and constructed by PCE has been submitted for the sustainability section of the 2011awards which are due to be announced in London, in November.
PCE was also responsible for erecting the high quality precast architectural concrete facade on behalf of Techrete. Main contractor for the project was Miller Construction.
