Top Guy lands Kier national award
PCE’s Guy Livingstone has scooped a top national safety award for his work with Kier on the major HMP Featherstone 2 project.
Foreman Erector Guy, who has worked for PCE since 2006, received the Positive Safety Leadership Award after being selected from personnel recommended by all Kier Major Projects sites across the UK.
The award represents key recognition of both Guy and PCE.
Kier’s citation at the awards read: “Guy’s approach to health and safety was a pleasure to watch in action. Whilst working at F2 he displayed all of the behavioural qualities the you would want from a frontline supervisor; promoting not only PCE’s safety culture, but embracing Kier’s policy in addition. Guy was clearly passionate about his safety record and the wellbeing of others on site.”
The contribution of Guy and the team at F2 has seen PCE top the site safety league nine times out of the 14 months on site and come second on the remaining five occasions.
