HSE features PCE’s safety initiatives
The Health and Safety Executive is focussing on PCE’s safety initiatives at a major prison building project in a special case study on its website.
An HSE representative visited the HMP Featherstone 2 site and the executive has now published a case study on the use to the Slingsafe system used for unloading precast panels from lorries at the site near Wolverhampton.
Introducing the article it comments: “The case study is part of a series, the example shows how a purpose built unloading system, a well trained workforce and good risk management are reducing the possibility of falls from vehicles during the unloading of large pre cast concrete sections.”
