PCE is always alert to the potential dangers and hazards that face construction operatives and site personnel daily and ensures through effective planning and management that every site and each employees operates safely.

To assist this we have developed innovative and specific construction safety systems to complement our day-to-day site activities.These systems have been developed using the following criteria -

• lessons learned generated through previous projects
• industry 'best practice'
• relevant legislation
• our extensive knowledge of the options within the safety market
• ongoing feedback and consultation with our site teams
• feedback from other contractors

Our site managers and site operatives are fully conversant with our obligations towards their own safety and the safety of those working around us. So, when we approach a scheme, we always develop a project specific approach. This approach is communicated to both our site teams and others involved in the project via ongoing site workshops and communication sessions. Safety is constantly monitored by site management and is reinforced by independent audits throughout the course of each project.
