Lift shafts
Numerous sites around the UK
| Construction: | PCE |
| Precast supplier: | Waycon |
Project details
PCE has been involved for the last few years in the development and delivery of a modular lift shaft solution designed to be integrated into either refurbishment or new build projects.
With some traditional forms of lift shaft construction, such as on site from blockwork, insitu concrete or steel relatively minor errors in the early stages of build can translate to significant deviations at higher levels, with problems only becoming apparent during mechanical installation. Delays in building completion can result. Modular lift shafts supplied by Waycon Precast and erected by PCE are installed to very tight dimensional tolerances.
PCE has delivered numerous projects around the country, most of which are completed within one to three days. In many instances the sites are particularly sensitive with many onerous logistical constraints.
Key Benefits
SPEED
The programme is always a critical factor with four storeys in one day being common
EXPERTISE
Tight tolerances and build quality
LOGISTICS
Often intricate and onerous sites are encountered due to the nature of this construction system
CAPABILITY
The use of our own craneage along with our extensive knowledge of lifting operations is critical to the success of these fast track projects
