Finishing and Repair Works - Structural and Cosmetic

A key benefit of precast concrete is the high quality finish it can provide. PCE ensures that the quality levels achieved during manufacture are fully complemented by the highest levels of workmanship on site.

Before commencing construction activities we believe it to be of paramount importance to define the requirements and expectations of our clients and their designers. Every connection, interface and junction is reviewed to define the finishing requirements. This information is integrated into our detailed method of works and forms one of the core requirements in site briefings to our installation teams. All structural finishing works are undertaken at the earliest opportunity within the build programme.

In the event that repairs are required, we have the 'in-house' expertise to both specify a solution and undertake the works to our clients’ satisfaction.

Where the project requires direct decoration of the precast concrete structure, we provide a cosmetic finishing service to guarantee the quality of the internal surface. In this instance our clients are able to let the decorating package with the confidence that the substrate will be suitably prepared for final painting.
