PCE achieves a totally safe approach by takinga holistic approach to health and safety throughout the design and constrution of a project,and the promotion of an innovative environment which focuses on the solving of safety issues. Identification and prioritisation of the key hazards at concept stage results in a collaborative approach to solutions provision during the design development and procurement phases. PCE draws on many years’ experience to identify practical solutions to achieving the highst levels of health and safety management and control.

PCE's approach is driven by the fact that we will be resourcing the most hazardous period of any project, the on site construction operations. It's our operatives undertaking the works and our team managing the design and procurement. Key issues such as working at height, noise pollution, dust, and aggressive construction operations exposing operatives to hazards such as vibration are all addressed through the provision of more intelligent designs and smarter systems. Supply chain partners are rigorously vetted to ensure that their strategy to health and safety is aligned to that of PCE and our clients.

PCE are acutely aware that it is not just the health and safety of those involved in delivering the structure that is affected by our approach. By developing a 'total solution', the integration of the building systems and finishes into the structural solution is not just considered from a design perspective. The inter-relationships during the construction operations are identified with a global approach to providing safer solutions being adopted.
