PCE's 30 years of experience at the forefront of precast construction has helped develop an assured approach in delivering challenging construction programmes and achieving project deadlines. Uniquely placed within the precast sector, PCE ensure that design and manufacturing details are not prepared in isolation of the construction process. The key message through design is always simplicity; simple to manufacture and simple to build. This influence gives programme certainty and allows a lean programming methodology.

Historically it has either been the capacity of individual suppliers or the constraints of a particular site which influences that speed at which projects can be delivered. PCE's approach is to assess the most practical and cost effective strategy for constructing the project and then to establish a supply chain to suit the project strategy. Suppliers are asked to play to their strengths and manufacture products which they are comfortable with at production rates that are within their manufacturing capabilities. The supply chain is established to suit the capacity requirements dictated by the construction phase. Each supplier is monitored continuously to ensure production rates will satisfy site requirements. The inherent flexibility by using a broad supply chain provides us with a resilience to adapt our approach not previously seen in the industry.

Certainty along with simple details that are integrated into a repetitive system benefits the construction cycle which improves as projects progress. This approach allows PCE to develop the optimum programme to best suit our clients needs.
