PCE Design & Build was responsible for the design, procurement and construction of all precast concrete elements at Reeepham College, near Norfolk, an innovative new building designed to comply with the criteria for a BREEAM “excellent” rating.
Precast concrete forms the crucial core of the building with its thermal qualities contributing to the overall low energy footprint.
Manufactured entirely off site in partnership with Tarmac Precast, the use of modular precast concrete units and crosswall construction also provided main contractor Kier Eastern with the fast track solution they needed to achieve an overall build time of just three school terms from start to completion.
