Cranes and Lifting Operations

On-site crane coordination and management of lifting operations is a fundamental aspect of PCE's service. Irrespective of whether we are supplying cranes as part of our scope of works, we will provide management and coordination expertise in the use and coordination of on-site craneage. Our in-house team is fully trained and experienced in crane coordination, planning and lift supervision, ensuring the efficient, effective and safe use of the cranes required during copnstruction.

Crane operations will be embedded within the core aspects of our detailed method of works along with the provision of any lifting accessories required to construct the precast concrete elements. Lift plans for every component type, lift scenario and piece of equipment will be undertaken by one of our 'Appointed Persons' during the pre-planning stage. The lift plans are incorporated into our detailed method statements and are extensively communicated to our client and site teams prior to construction commencing. We can also to provide fully trained 'Lift Supervisors' to monitor and coordinate all lifting operations.

The management of lifting accessories is undertaken by our fully trained site operatives as is our tracking and audit systems for the testing of lifting equipment.

We have expertise in the specification of lifting systems at detailed design stage, to ensure complete coordination, efficiency and practicality in the handling and installation of structural elements.
